  • Lightly dry‑roast or fry in oil or ghee to mellow the intensity and deepen the aroma.

  • Add to parathas, puris, pakoras, curries, dals, vegetable dishes, pickles, and flatbreads.

  • Excellent in digestive teas: steep about ½ tsp in hot water after meals.

Usage Tip: Because of their potent flavour, use sparingly—typically ¼ to ½ tsp is enough for most dishes.
