Description Berkouks (also known as barqouqis or mhammsa) is a traditional North African coarse couscous made from durum wheat semolina. It’s larger than regular couscous grains and is commonly used in hearty stews, soups, and traditional Maghrebi dishes.

Preparation Instructions 1. Place Berkouks in a large bowl.
2. Add a little water and oil, mix well to moisten grains.
3. Steam over boiling water or couscoussier for 20–25 minutes until tender.
4. Fluff with a fork and serve with stew or vegetables.
Storage Information • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture
